5. Pay the non-refundable visa fee, receive a Transaction Reference Number (TRN), and keep it for tracking your application online. It is currently $575

6. Be prepared for a possible health check-up and/or interview as part of the application process.

7. Await the visa decision, which typically takes a few weeks; application quality and immigration authorities' workload can impact processing time.

8. Upon approval, receive an electronic Visa Grant letter via email; print and carry it with your passport for travel to Australia.

Is it possible for international students to work in Australia?

Under a student visa 500, you are limited to working 20 hours in a week period. Similarly, a training visa permits 20 hours of work in one week, but it must align with your training program.
